Three Nepalis crushed by train in India

Biratnagar, June 14: Three Nepalis were killed after being run over by a passenger train in bordering Indian town of Jogbani.

 

The deceased have been identified as Ramesh Sharma.25, of Kadmaha-8, Morang, 16-year-old Raju Rishidev of Judighat-8 and 26-year-old Binod Yadav of Sigyahimadan, Dhanusa, according to the Border Police Post in Jogbani.

 

The three were travelling in a motorcycle (Ko. 17 Pa. 3693) and just when were on the railway track to cross an intersection a running train crushed them, sub-inspector of police Firoj Chaudhary said. The incident took place at around 8:00 pm on Monday.

 

The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their respective families after an examination at a hospital in Arariya of India, police said. RSS
